Do you mean what can: He do? Talking therapy (such as cognitive behavioral therapy or insight oriented psychotherapy) is extremely important for lasting change. Psychiatric medications may be indicated. Here are some basics: don't isolate. Spend time with people. Having a support system is very important. Get out. Don’t stagnate at home. Work to get at least 8 hours of sleep per night ; eat as healthfully as possible.

TREATMENT: Your partner has to want therapy and medication, and all you can really do is encourage him to seek both and engage deeply and meaningfully in the therapeutic process. You simply cannot do it for him, much as you'd like to. You can either be his partner or his therapist. You cannot be both, and even though you want to see him get better, trying to be both simply will not work.
