A member asked:

What are the earliest symptoms of pregnancy? and when is the earliest time to use a pregnancy test?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ectopic pregnancy: The usual symptoms of a normal pregnancy include nausea, tender breasts, spotting and cramping a few days after conception. Pregnancy tests won't turn positive until about 9 days after ovulation. If your regular menstrual cycle is 28 days, then positivity would occur around day 24 with the blood test and a few days later with the urine test. Talk with your obgyn for more advice.
