Night sweats: It's true that circumoral fluctuations of pregnancy and the postpartum state can lead to hot flashes , but if you're having regular periods and protected sex , that is more likely that you're experiencing night sweats which have multiple causes. I would bring this up with your general doctor as soon as you can because it may be a problem but it may be treatable.
