Not likely: If your doctor told you that you have bronchitis ; asthma, s/he means you have bronchitis ; asthma and not cancer. What treatment did s/he provide to you? What follow up was suggested? Mood swings is an additional problem not associated with bronchitis. It may need care also, but you need to tell your physician you're experiencing this so that you receive it.

Lung function test: It is unlikely, since asthma and infections of the lung are more common. I would suggest keeping your pertussis vaccination up to date. There have been outbreaks of pertussis. The flu vaccination is recommended on an annual basis, unless you have a specific reason not to have one. Avoid smoke and anything in your environment that seems to trigger your asthma. PFTs are suggested.
