May not be related: Shunt malfunction leads to excessive increase in head circumference, irritability, and vomiting. Check head circumference and converse with his/her pediatrician.

Your infant son has: intracranial hypertension requiring HCTZ, (hydrochlorothiazide) a shunt for post-hemorrhagic hydrocephalus & refuses to feed. See his pediatrician ASAP. One person should measure his head circumference the same way at every office visit. Have the CDSA's OT, PT & SLT (704-786-9181) assess the quality of his motor movements & start therapy now before he is old enough for quantifiable Fine, Gross & Oral -motor delays
