Good question.: Do you have a meal and then take a nap? Not a good idea. Do you eat very fast and swallow a lot of air? It's a good idea to allow at least 2 hours after eating a meal before lying down. It's also a good idea to "dine" and take your time eating. Enjoy your food and chew it slowly.

A few things: A few things come to mind. Low bp. It goes down when you sleep, so when you get up it drops and you feel sick. Taking naps drops your stress hormones (adrenaline and cortisol) which is a good thing, but if you are addicted to your own stress, a nap can mean low sugar. If you get vertigo as well it may be inner ear. Migraines can b triggered by naps. Bottom line, do your 7-8h sleep @ pm ; c md.
