Difference between home pregnancy test and pregnancy blood test?

Blood more sensitive: A blood test is more sensitive and can pick up a pregnancy earlier. A blood test can also quantify the amount of bhcg the hormone released when a woman is pregnant. Both tests are positive when bhcg is present.
