Virus: Most of the time diarrhea is from a virus. If it goes on for more then 3 days the possibility of a bacterial cause like e-coli or salmonella goes up. That is when it is recommended to get stool studies. So if your symptoms continue until tomorrow then go to your pcp. If you are very ill or dehydrated then go the er.

Diarrhea: Diarrhea can range from very mild to severe. For severe diarrhea and associated symptoms, i would recommend going to either the emergency room or urgent care clinic. Worrisome diarrhea generally would include symptoms such as: high fever, unrelenting diarrhea, severe abdominal pain, blood or mucous in stool, dehydration, dizziness, or accompanied vomiting. When in doubt, go check it out.
