Ask your : Doc if they could prescribe metanx. It is a vitamin with l- methyl folate, (folic acid) b12, b 6 my patients do well with it.

Wait ; See: Many chemotherapy treatments can cause peripheral neuropathy. This is the name given to your condition. It may or may not resolve. Nerve problems are highly variable, in that resolution of symptoms can take up to a couple years. High dose b vitamins may help with symptoms. Good luck.

Maybe, Maybe not: There are many reasons for nerves and different sensations that come up. Numbness (neuropathy) after chemotherapy can be a common side effect; it may be temporary or permanent, if the neuropathy becomes increasingly disturbing talk to your oncologist, pcp, or podiatrist.
