I seen a dentist about a really bad tooth ache, i took t3's and ibuprofen 600mg and nothing seems to work. pain continues. what do i need?

Antibiotics: Pain medication doesn't treat the root cause. You also need antibiotics.

You need to have...: ...The cause of the infection treated. Pain killers don't treat infection. You need root canal treatment or extraction, both with antiotic coverage.

Get treatment: often times definitive treatment is needed,not just meds. Sounds like you need a root canal or extraction.

See a dentist ASAP: Any other treatment is a temporary relief. A tooth pain won't go away without treatment and the infection may spread to your jaw, cheeks, sinus and to other areas of your head and neck. You can use NSAID OTC or Tylenol (acetaminophen) for pain control. See your dentist ASAP.
