Listeria ; Pregnancy: Your risk of contracting listeria from pasteurized products is exceedingly low. The risk is greater from unwashed vegetables and deli meats. Watch for symptoms and if you get a fever, muscle aches, and GI distress during the next month your doctor can test you for listeria and if present, treat with antibiotics that can prevent fetal infection.
