CPAP: CPAP will directly help your obstructive sleep apnea (osa). Pranayama may help in other ways, but isn't likely to cure osa on its own.

CPAP: An ahi indicated a moderate level of osa and breathing techniques like pranayama will not prevent the apnea and hypopnea events that occur at this level of the condition. CPAP is the gold standard for treating osa with oral repositioning appliances indicated only if CPAP cannot be tolerated or used.
