See Medical Dr.: You need to see your physician treating you for the pe to get medically cleared for the dental work, and in all likelihood the warfarin (coumadin) would be held to prevent excessive bleeding from the surgery. Best wishes. (agree with dr. Seres-if bloodless procedure, would be safe to continue it).

Yes: Y ou can have routine dental treatment while you are taking coumadin (warfarin). Your dentist may consult with your doctor before your treatment. Generally it is safer to continue taking the Coumadin (warfarin) rather than stopping it for dental treatment.
