Get evaluation: Your b-12 level is borderline at best, and you need further testing to include methyl melonic acid and homocysteine. You might need supplemental injections. Do you suffer sleep disorder, restless leg syndrome as reason for checking ferritin? Best to proceed with your doctor to deal with these emerging issues.

Iron deficiency: Low ferritin is due to iron deficiency. Common causes are menstrual blood loss, or gastrointestinal blood loss. Talk to your doc. Nsaids can cause GI inflammation and bleeding. Lowish B12 may be deficient. Ask for methyl malonic acid blood test for confirmation.
