No: Headaches are very common in children. Tumors are not. Children can have simple stress headaches which are usually mild, usually in the afternoon and evening and they come and go, and they get better when distracted. Migraines also happen in children and usually one of the parents gets bad ha's as well. Stress ha's usually improve with tylenol (acetaminophen) or motrin, but migraines often need rx meds.

NO REASON TO WORRY: Most likely you child suffers from migraines, and the headaches would be very unlikely to be secondary to any intracranial structural issue, and the eye exam should have ruled out any increase of pressure within the cranial cavity. Have a pediatric neurologist start to control and eliminate these pesky headaches.
