No, not normal: Are you taking any medications or drugs? Drinking alcohol? Caffeine? These substances can interfere with your sleep cycle and leave you feeling exhausted -- plus some may evoke very vivid dreams. There are other possible causes also, and you might benefit from seeing a sleep medicine physician to review things. In the meantime, eliminate alcohol, any recreational drugs, and caffeine.
