2nd opinion w/eye dr: Anything involving cosmetics of the eyes needs to be examined by an oculoplastics (eye doctor). Unless you know what she is injecting, get a second opinion first. Injecting something to treat a vein around the eye, can impact the eye indirectly! there are other options that are safer, and more effective, and quicker, like having cosmetic laser done for vein ablation. Involving no needles.

It is not: In common to have a dermal filler injected in the tear troughs under the eyes that appear dark so you don't look so tired . It is expensive and only for cosmetic reasons. Make sure the injector is experienced as it is a tricky area. Only do it if it bothers you, not the doc!
