I had a case of gross, painless hematuria a few weeks ago. My doc said it wasn't a UTI because I didn't have proper symptoms of it. The bleeding lasted for about 5 days. What could the outcome have been? Or was it just a harmless case?

Gross hematuria bleeding from urethra even when not peeing. Hospital 4x, kidney function normal, no stones, no UTI, ultrasound and CT scan normal. Pulling out clots, they sent me home. Waiting on Urologist appt. What else could this be? I'm scared.
