I am trying to have a baby. i did the deed feb. 2nd the day before i ovulated but not on the day of ovulation. could i still have gotten pregnant? breast have become swollen and some tenderness.

Pregnancy: Yes, spermatozoa can stay active for greater than 24 hours, long enough to fertilize the egg a day later. You also may have ovulated sooner than you expected based on time from last mensteual period (lmp) or other markers of ovulation. The last part of your cycle from ovulation to menstruation is very regular, but not so from LMP to ovulation. Symptoms suggest your pregnant.

Yes: Sperm survive about 3 days internally, so it is definitely possible. Wait until period due and check home pregnancy test if normal cycle doesn't occur.
