A member asked:

Can straining hard when constipated cause pressure on the bladder up to a day later or is there something separating these two body parts?

Possibly: Unless you have had a hysterectomy, the vagina and uterus separate the rectum from the bladder. That being said problems with any of the the three can be manifested in the others. Best to see you ob-gyn and then a GI or colorectal surgeon.
