Varies: There are many patterns and ages for this to be noticeable. Generally the first thing that becomes a bit of a problem is the remembering of names and faces. Later word search gets more difficult. And there is the classic "where did i leave my (keys, car, wallet, coffee cup, etc.)? This is a slow evolution over many years in the elderly (you are way too young).

Unfortunately restoration of original hair color is not something we can offer patients. Unless you consider a hair dye. Once an individual hair follicle looses the ability to produce pigment then that cannot be reversed.

What might cause a grey speck in the field of vision?

Floater?: Very commonly a floater can cause a moving speck in the vision. A more stationary, constant speck in the central vision could indicate more serious conditions. Any new change in vision whether a floater or constant speck should be evaluated by an ophthalmologist.
