A member asked:

I see black instead of white. yellow instead of green. i also see one more color and my doctor told me it didn't exist. i see it in light. rare or no?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rare: Color perception is a complex process that is controlled by cones in the retinal. From the retinal, the impulses are transmitted to the brain via the optic nerve and tracts. It is possible that there is some abnormality in this pathway that leads to your perception. It is well known that certain people have specific color deficits that are do to anomalies in the retina.
