Preventing cavities: Many people "brush and floss" but not adequately or at the right time. You should spend about 2 minutes brushing ; flossing and after, not before eating. What you eat is also essential. Avoid sticky, starchy foods, snack ; drinks high in sugar and acid. Many sport drinks are bad! multivitamins will have no effect either way on cavity formation. Have your dentist check your oral hygiene techniques.
