For past 4 years, i had 3 to 5 days dark brown spotting before my period and 2 days brown spotting after my period. what is problem?can be corrected?

Many possibilities: If you haven't had a pap/pelvic examination in the past 3 years, you need to be examined. Could possibly be hormonal but you would probably have irregular periods. Could be physical, such as if the lining of the uterus builds up too much over time. A lot more information would be needed to narrow the list of possibilities. See your family doctor or gynecologist.
