Causing pain w breat: Pleurisy is a medical term meaning an inflammation of the lining of the lung. Inflamation is the bodies reaction to something it considers 'foreign'. Latin again: 4 signs of inflamation are dolor (pain), rubor (redness), calor (heat), and edema (swelling). There are 2 pleura, one coating the lungs, one lining the chest wall; when inflamed, breathing rubs one against other causing pain and dyspnea.
