Joint pains: Classic triad is joint pains, rash, and fever. Dgi causes an infection in a few joints that cause arthritis symptoms without any evidence of trauma; it is the leading differential in patients with nontraumatic arthritis that are sexually active. Diagnosis is by tapping the joint in question for culture.
