A member asked:

How can you calculate ovulation using days?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Easily: Ovulation happens about 14 days before the start of the next menstrual period (14 days before the first day of bleeding). So, one has to be able to mark on her calendar when her next period will start, and then count backwards 14 days.
