Cystoscope +pain: It is not uncommon to have discomfort or pain for the first day following the cystoscopy but it is not common to have the pain for three days. I recommend that you see your physician. One of the common complications is for the urethra (the tube going into the bladder) to become irritated or scratched during the exam. Infection is another possibility. You should have a urinalysis to evaluate.
