Tear duct: This is because of your tear duct. Our tear duct drains tears from the medial eyelids into our nose. In some people the air from the nose can drain through this tear duct in the opposite direction. Anything that irritates the eye, including air or wind, can cause you to tear. Additionally, sneezing can stimulate a tearing reflex. Your eye doctor can place a plug in your year duct if necessary.
