Should be careful...: For someone in your age it is less likely to have infectious type of periodontal diseases, or pyorrhea.What i think is happening for you might be another disorder... Called gum recession, where your gum line may be receding. This situation is not an infection, ; maybe treated rather easily via gum grafts. The most important step is to see your dentist, most likely be referred to a periodontist.
