Some pain as ...: Varicocelectomy nowadays is usually done under anesthesia with microscope so to minimize inadvertent injury to testicular arteries and assure complete vein removal/transection through inguinal incision. Postop pain is expected and worst in 1-2 days, but easily controlled to tolerable level with oral pain drug. So, it's ok, no big deal; be real, face it, and live on. Best wish and luck...
