A member asked:

I am positive that i have vaginitis , and i had unprotected sex . could that prevent pregnancy, what to do?

Not necessarily: The ability of some sperm to survive in spite of some adverse conditions is well documented. It only takes one to do the deed. Home testing is a way to begin checking, with followup as needed. It would also be prudent to get the vaginitis cleared up.
