Varies: Some babies may have more drooling, more crankiness, fussiness with feeding, possible mild/slight fever, loose stool etc. And of course seeing/feeling the teeth (white dots protruding from the gums) is a sign. Some babies have no symptoms at all. Regular visits/well check with doc will provide you with the info you need.

Non specific: Most experience vague symptoms of "not being themselves". They essentially continue to act and eat well. May be fussy at times but easily consolable, they seem to want to bite on things more than "usual". Others may be increased drooling, looser than normal stools (but not "diarrhea"), temperature up to 100 or so. If fever, poor appetite, fussy or resp symptoms it may need to be seen by md.
