A member asked:

Can you tell me if you have a minor peanut allergy, will defatted peanut flour give you a reaction?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: Depends on what you mean by minor allergy. Best to avoid the flour. Make sure you have an EPipen (epinephrine). There is component allergy testing available now (Blood test, Thermofisher). That can helps distinguish the severity of your allergy and the possibility of reacting to different components of the peanut protein.
