Get on therapy: Let's assume your diagnosis is correct, and you have a neurologist. You need to commence a disease modifying drug asap, and currently, there are injectables, oral agents, and infusions. A low fat, low salt diet, with vitamin d-3 supplements, and aerobic exercise can be very useful. Long term outcomes seem best when treatment starts at time of diagnosis.
