Possibly normal: Starting birth-control pills will change the timing of your period. Your period should start sometime during the last 7 days of your pill pack. The first time this happens you should get a pregnancy test if you get to the point where you need to start a new pack and still haven't had a period. Best wishes!

Late start: waiting for your period to pass and then starting the birth control pills gave you a late start and set you up for pregnancy. If you did not use condoms during this cycle, you may want to be sure that you are not pregnant. If the test is negative, you may just not have a menstrual period on birth control pills. This happens in a certain percentage of women and is normal.
