Relax: The most common side effect of hormonal contraceptives is a change in your cycle. For most women this will mean lighter, very predictable periods. However, sometimes it will cause irregular bleeding or no bleeding at all. If you have no other worrisome symptoms see what happens with your next pack of pills. Chances are you will go back to your previous pattern. If not, see your doctor.
