Usually not so fast.: Wash face w gentle cleanser 2x/day ; use oil free products. No oily hair or heavy foundations. Try not to pop pimples. Avoid touching face (cradling chin in hands). Remove makeup before bed. Shower after strenuous exercise. Consider otc products (salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide). Retinoids/ comedone extractor can be helpful for black heads. If > mild acne see dermatology.

Unlikely: This is possible but highly unlikely. There are many quick fixes for acne. One includes going into your doctor for an injection into your pimple of a very dilute medium potency steroid. There is no guarantee it will go away in a day but it will speed up the inflammatory process. Using products is recommended and maintenance treatment is necessary to avoid future outbreaks.
