Not unusual: Seizures are associated with alteration of consciousness, and often head injury is associated. Depending on the severity of your post-ictal symptoms, such as a bad headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, visual blurring, etc, you might want to notify your doctor and get this evaluated.
