Ear pain: Pain in the ear is the most common sign of an infection. You should not try to clean your ears by yourself, other than using wax dissolving drops and cotton. Please see an ENT surgeon for proper evaluation and treatment. Fungal infection is known cause of pain in the outer ear and can happen with water in the ear. Watch for fever, discharge and other signs of infection.
