It is not normal: You may have developed sleep apnea, which is a potentially life-threatening condition. People with sleep apnea often snore, but they also stop breathing for 10 sec or more during their sleep. There is growing evidence that osa promotes vascular endothelial dysfunction, brain damage and atherosclerosis.Talk to your doctor and request a full sleep study for diagnosis and treatment.
