What is the best way to treat my baby's eczema?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cortisone cream: Eczema is a dry skin condition so moisturizers can help. Use brands made for sensitive skin without fragrance (ie: cetaphil, cerave, aveeno, aquanil). Try topical otc cortisone cream and Benadryl (diphenhydramine) syrup for the itching and inflammation. If not enough then you'll need to see a dermatologist for prescription strength topical steroid and Atarax (hydroxyzine), an antihistamine.
