How do you clean a mattress if your child has pinworms?

Just wash sheets: There is no need to do major treatment to the mattress unless it is never covered with a sheet or cover.If so, a day exposed to direct sunlight & a good brushing should eliminate any eggs. Any pw eggs left in the sheets will be destroyed in the wash & dry process.
