Exercise but: Avoid strength training with high weights and low reps. Eat healthfully ; be physically active. Aim for 7.5 to 8 hrs of sleep / night. Hydrate w at least 64 oz of water / day. Calories burned must > calories consumed. Do both cardio ; weight training.

You stay the same..: You maintain your weight! if you put on muscle, and keep your weight constant, you have become leaner: this is a constant goal of exercise. You need to get adequate protein, and i usually recommend a blend of weight training with cardio. 4-5 x per week. 45m is optimal! if you maintain a high protein intake but calories, you will lose fat faster, but you will more slowly add muscle.

Sort of: You can lose fat while gaining muscle, but you may not lose 'weight'. This is because muscle weighs more than fat. So you can lose fat while gaining weight. Do not be worried if you are losing fat but gaining weight. Ignore the scale and instead go by how your pants fit; if they are getting looser, then things are headed in the right direction.

No guarntee: that you won't build muscle but consider yoga & swimming. In general aerobics would likely create less muscle then weight training. Take care.
