Adequate treatment: Schizophrenia is a highly treatable disorder much of the time. People with the disorder who respond well to treatment are as capable as most of us of parenting. They may need more of a support system to watch out for returning symptoms, because parenting is stressful. But parental instincts are not impaired by the disorder.

Same way as others: Though not usual women well treated when young have gone on to be good moms. I have witnessed it.
