Other alternatives: Talk to you child psychiatrist or pediatrician to review other alternatives. With the non stimulants, there is Guanfacine (tenex (guanfacine) or intuniv) or clonidine. There are a range of stimulant options as well.

Talk to your MD: Voice your concerns to your physician who may be able to prescribe another medication that is more helpful.
