A member asked:

I've been trying to get pregnant with no luck. i am overweight and have been told in the past i have pcos. my cycles seem irregular. when/wha can i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ovulation predictor: Weight loss will help your fertility. But even with pcos, if you are getting periods, you are probably ovulating. You may not be able to predict when you are ovulating based on a calendar, since your cycles are irregular. However, an ovulation predictor kit might be helpful. We usually ovulate 14 days prior to menstruating (fertile day is day 30 in a 44 day cycle). See your gyn for more help.
