A child in my daycare had mrsa, how long should we wait before letting her come back to join the daycare?

Finish treatment: Once antibiotics have been started, there is substantial evidence that the infection is no longer contagious; but just to be sure, it's best to wait until the course of antibiotics is completed and your doctor confirms that the infection is completely resolved.

Daycare MRSA: If the child has no open wound or boils and was treated successfully by his/her physician, she/he can return to the daycare with no problem. Hand washing policy should be enforced, toys should washed daily to prevent the spread of the bacteria.
