Local nerve compress: It sounds like you have compressed the nerves in the wrist. There is a large nerve the median nerve that can be compressed. It leads to some of the symptoms you describe. This is usually temporary.

Weakness: The weakness is likely from your head resting on a nerve in the wrist - this should get better quickly once the pressure was removed from the nerve.
