Scrotal pathology: You likely have a varicocele. Left scrotum would feel is if there was a"bag of worms" from the dilated veins, these disappear when you lie down. "lump" next to testis could be head of epididymis or a spermatocele (cyst of epididymis). All are benign. Hard lumps are the bad ones. Sonogram would be definite answer.
